The Portland Botanical Gardens (PBG) continues its due diligence and hopes to close on the amazing 59 acre McCormick & Baxter site in North Portland by year’s end.
Along with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), we are providing ongoing learning and engagement opportunities for the public.
Community Webinar w/DEQ – May 8th, 6:00-7:30PM
Hear presentations from PBG and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) about PBG’s proposal to redevelop the property as a botanical garden and DEQ’s Prospective Purchaser Agreement (PPA) process.
A PPA outlines operational and long-term requirements for owning Superfund sites, including how the prospective buyer (PBG) will provide significant public benefits.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and learn how to stay involved as the process moves forward.
