While we love encouraging outdoor learning, the reality is that sometimes you need indoor educational facilities. PBG’s educational facilities will be the heart of where our learning programs take place, giving students and visitors access to an array of resources and spaces.
Research Laboratories
As a premier botanical garden, we’ll need state-of-the-art laboratories and materials for our research program. These facilities will be used by students, researchers, and teachers to study the plants that we grow and publish their findings like many other botanical gardens do.
Learning Spaces
Accessible learning spaces are just as important as high-quality labs, because the future generation of botanists is still taking undergraduate courses. These learning spaces will largely be classrooms and a seminar hall for educational events like our Speaker Series.
