As a high-caliber botanical garden, PBG will forge academic links with Oregon higher education institutions. Two of PBG’s main programming tenants are education and community, therefore through partnering with local higher education institutions, PBG will foster community and connection.
Collegiate partners will have access to the facilities and resources of the PBG which will create research opportunities and increase horticultural interest among students.

We are currently partnered with Lewis & Clark’s Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership and launched the PBG Internship Program in February of 2020. We are exploring further potential partnerships with the Biology, Environmental Studies, Teacher Education, and Sociology Departments, and the Sustainability Council.
