No matter what you choose to pursue, you should never stop seeking knowledge. Continuing education is quite different from a formal one in that people who are generally in the courses are older, and have more time and resources. While they could go back to get a whole, formal degree, continuing education gives them a variety of different opportunities to choose from. These courses will generally offer more specific segments on interesting topics, and rely on more of a class-based approach.
